Sr. Backend Engineer

We are a startup in the field of industrial AI founded by IIT Delhi Alumni aiming to build the cutting-edge tech to optimize manufacturing processes. Our founding team comprises of senior professionals & leaders from McKinsey and IBM with top-tier educational qualifications.

We build Artificial intelligence software to optimize manufacturing processes. Our products today are deployed with clients such as Godrej and Boyce, Piramal, and Aditya Birla Group, among others.


Requirements:

• Expert in coding for business logic, server scripts and application programming interfaces (APIs)

• Should have expertise in Django / Python

• Excellent in writing optimal SQL queries for backend databases; CRUD operations for databases from applications

• Exposure to relational databases - MYSQL, Postgres DB, non-relational: MongoDB, Graph-based databases, HBASE, Cloud native big data stores; willing to learn and ramp up on multiple database technologies

• Must have at least 1 public cloud platform experience (GCP/Azure/AWS; GCP preferred)

• Can build secure apps; experienced in SSO, SAML and OIDC integrations
  
  
  

Nice to have:

• Expertise in multiple programming languages & frameworks - Java, Scala, Javascript, Node.js

• Experience with IOT platforms like Crosser.IO, c3.ai, PTC ThingWorx, VMWare Tanzu, etc.)

• Preferably experienced in DEVSECOPS (GIT, CI/CD) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Experience in building apps involving In Memory databases (or In-memory data grids) and fast data ingestion (e.g. Kafka)

• Basic knowledge of Advanced Analytics / Machine learning / Artificial intelligence (has to collaborate with ML engineers to build backend of AI-enabled apps)

• a track record of strong academic performance, CGPA of 7.0+
